Islamabad, Oct. 9 -- Pakistan military spokesperson Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said Islamabad is acting as an 'honest broker' in its mediation between the US and Iran and remains committed to a negotiated and peaceful resolution of the war.
The Director General of the country's military media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) made the remarks in an interview with CNN correspondent Ivan Watson, who shared a clip on X.
Asked whether Pakistan could remain neutral after Iran's attacks on Saudi Arabia, given Islamabad's defence alliance with Riyadh and the Houthis' attacks on the kingdom, Chaudhry defended Pakistan's approach.
