Tehran, June 7 -- Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who is in Tehran to further push diplomatic negotiations between Iran and the United States, will deliver a "special letter" from Pakistan's Army chief and Prime Minister to Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei.
Speaking after talks with Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni, Naqvi said he had come to deliver a message from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir to Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei regarding the evolving regional situation.
The visit is aimed at discussing fresh proposals to break the deadlock in negotiations and create conditions for a temporary understanding between the two sides.
