New Delhi, Sept. 14 -- Pakistan are likely to travel to India next month for the men's Asian Champions Trophy, ending a period of uncertainty over their participation in a tournament thatwill also feature defending champions India, China, Japan, Malaysia and Korea.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann confirmed Pakistan's participation on Monday while announcing the six teams for the continental tournament, which will be held from October 27 to November 5 in Jalandhar and Mohali. Oman and Bangladesh have been named as reserve teamsin case of withdrawals.
