New Delhi, Sept. 7 -- Delhi Police on Monday apprehended Hariram Gupta, owner of the Satya Niketan building that collapsed, a day after the mishap.

Following the incident on Sunday, police issued a 'Look Out Circular' against the accused and nabbed him in Bhilwara, Rajasthan.

"Hariram Gupta has been apprehended from Bhiwadi. Further examination is ongoing in connection with the case," an officer confirmed.

The decades-old building that housed a boys' hostel came down during repair work on Sunday. Seven people lost their lives as rescue operations continue.
