Chennai, April 27 -- A week after the tragic blast at a cracker manufacturing unit at Kattanarpatti village in the southern Virudhunagar district that claimed 25 lives, its owner was arrested by a special police team on Monday.

Police said Eswari, the owner of the Vanaja fireworks unit, who has been evading police for the last eight days since the blast occurred on April 19, was arrested on Monday morning at Coimbatore where she was taking shelter in her relative's house.
