Hyderabad/Amaravati, Oct. 30 -- AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday appealed to voters in Andhra Pradesh to support the party's candidates in the municipal corporation and municipality elections scheduled for November 1, and vote for the 'Kite' symbol.
In a video message released in Hyderabad, Owaisi listed the party candidates contesting in Ballia Municipal Corporation, Hindupur, Penukonda, Rayadurgam and Nandyal municipalities.
He urged voters to strengthen local Muslim leadership by electing AIMIM candidates as corporators and councillors, stating that their victory would help promote community representation and local development.
