Ch. Sambhajinagar, April 24 -- Voter mapping under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise is progressing steadily in Ch. Sambhajinagar district, with 73.69 per cent of the work completed as of April 24, officials said.
According to Deputy District Election Officer Savita Chaudhary, out of a total of 32,51,862 registered voters, mapping has been completed for 23,96,323 individuals. Efforts are now underway to accelerate the remaining work, with a strong emphasis on increasing public awareness and participation.
Constituency-wise progress shows significant variation across the district. Vaijapur has recorded the highest completion at 92.53 per cent, followed by Kannad at 89.80 per cent and Sillod at 86.39 per cent. Paithan stands at ...
