Dimapur, June 6 -- Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav today said as of February this year, the state recorded 70,469 registered unemployed job seekers.
Inaugurating the Kohima Job Fair 2026 at Don Bosco College Kohima, Yadav highlighted the employment scenario in the state, underscoring the need for stronger collaboration among government agencies, educational institutions, industries and social organizations to create sustainable pathways to employment and livelihoods.
The job fair saw participation of more than 25 companies representing various sectors and over 500 job seekers.
