Panchkula, July 23 -- Over the past three years, more than 590 complaints regarding denial of admission and medical services by hospitals empanelled under the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) have been reported nationwide.
Delhi alone accounted for over one-third of these grievances, according to information provided by the Centre to Parliament Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Prataprao Jadhav stated that 593 complaints were received between June 1, 2023, and June 30, 2026, concerning refusal of admission or denial of services by CGHS empanelled hospitals and laboratories.
