Solapur, May 26 -- The National Pulse Polio Immunisation campaign will be conducted across Solapur district on Sunday, June 28 during which polio prevention drops will be administered to 4,36,572 children below five years of age.
During a meeting of the District Coordination Committee held at the District Collector's office, Additional District Collector Ganesh Narahali directed the Health Department to ensure effective planning and successful implementation of the campaign.
He stressed that no child should be left out of the immunisation drive and instructed officials to pay special attention to cold chain management, vehicle arrangements, manpower deployment and awareness activities.
