Srinagar, July 17 -- More than 3.50 lakh pilgrims have paid obeisance at the holy Amarnath cave shrine in the first 15 days of the annual pilgrimage, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said on Friday after reviewing the Yatra arrangements at the Nunwan base camp in Pahalgam.
During his visit, the Lieutenant Governor inspected facilities put in place and chaired a high-level meeting with senior officials to assess the availability of essential services, including drinking water, electricity, telecom connectivity, accommodation, food, healthcare, emergency response and security.
