Panchkula, Sept. 13 -- A National Lok Adalat held at the Panchkula district courts and Kalka sub-divisional courts disposed of 25,421 cases out of 31,185 matters taken up, with settlements amounting to Rs 93,34,669.
The National Lok Adalat was organised at the District Courts Complex, Sector 1, Panchkula, and the Sub-Divisional Court Complex, Kalka, under the aegis of the Haryana State Legal Services Authority (HALSA).
A total of eight Benches were constituted at Panchkula and Kalka for the effective conduct of the National Lok Adalat.
Justice Harsimran Singh Sethi, Chairman of the Haryana State Legal Services Authority, visited the District Courts Complex, Panchkula, to personally review the functioning of the Lok Adalat.
