New Delhi, May 2 -- : The government on Saturday said it is closely monitoring the evolving situation in West Asia and has put in place a coordinated response mechanism to ensure uninterrupted fuel supplies, safeguard maritime operations, and assist Indian nationals in the region amid ongoing geopolitical tensions.

In a detailed update, the government said adequate stocks of petrol, diesel and LPG are available across the country and urged citizens not to indulge in panic buying.
