Puttaparthi, July 26 -- The nationwide Sri Sathya Sai 5K Run & Ride - A Spirit of Unity, organised as part of the Birth Centenary Celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, concluded with a grand finale at Puttaparthi on Sunday, with organisers claiming participation of 1,39,100 people across 46 cities.
The concluding event, held at the Sri Sathya Sai Hill View Stadium, witnessed the participation of over 19,000 runners and cyclists, taking the cumulative participation in the nationwide campaign to more than 1.39 lakh.
The event was flagged off by R J Rathnakar, Managing Trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, and Nimish Pandya, All India President of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, India.
