Patna, April 20 -- A total of 1,04,036 domestic PNG connections have been successfully made operational in Bihar by April 18 this year.
Chairing a key review meeting of the Crisis Management Group (CMG) under the Food and Consumer Protection Department, focusing on the supply of piped natural gas (PNG) and LPG across the state, Bihar Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit said here today that over 1.04 lakh households have been provided with the facility.
He directed officials to accelerate the development of PNG infrastructure in coordination with district administrations. He specifically instructed that pending land allocation issues for gas stations in districts such as Darbhanga, Buxar, and Madhubani be resolved at the earliest.
