Bhubaneswar, May 21 -- In a significant ruling aimed at streamlining the handling of illegal immigrants and foreign nationals involved in criminal cases, the Orissa High Court has issued a comprehensive set of guidelines to the Odisha Government and subordinate authorities for dealing with such cases in a uniform and legally compliant manner.
The guidelines were issued by the Single Bench of Justice G. Satapathy while hearing a matter relating to foreign nationals staying illegally in the country.
