Mumbai, June 27 -- Opposition parties in Maharashtra on Saturday criticised the BJP-led state government after the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) question paper was allegedly leaked a day before the examination, prompting authorities to postpone the test.

The TET examination was scheduled to be held on Sunday at 1,028 centres across the state.

The Maharashtra State Examination Council announced that the examination had been postponed to maintain the transparency and integrity of the process. Deputy Commissioner Priya Shinde said fresh dates would be announced within the next two to three days.
