Mumbai, May 20 -- Top leaders of the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) met Maharashtra State Chief Electoral Officer S Chokkalingam here today and demanded transparency in the electoral roll revision process, ensuring that the names of eligible voters are not unjustly excluded, as well as strict action against fake and duplicate entries.
They also demanded that special care must be taken to ensure that voters from rural, tribal, migrant, disadvantaged and weaker sections are not deprived of their right to vote due to any technical reason.
