Hyderabad, April 10 -- Telangana Minister for Revenue, Housing, and Information & Public Relations Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy on Friday accused sections of the opposition of indulging in "mud-slinging politics" against the government, asserting that such criticism would not deter its pro-poor agenda.
Speaking after inaugurating PACS warehouses built at a cost of Rs 1.52 crore in Khammam district and distributing Rs 58.58 lakh to 191 beneficiaries, the Minister said the government remains committed to supporting farmers and the poor.
He announced that the state would procure every grain produced by farmers, with payments being credited directly to their bank accounts within a week.
