Hyderabad, April 19 -- Rajya Sabha MP and National BC Welfare Association President, R Krishnaiah, today said opposing the Women's Reservation Bill is "anti-women" and urged all political parties to support its passage in Parliament.
Addressing the media in Hyderabad, he noted that the Women's Bill has been pending since 1996 and has been rejected multiple times. He said both gender and caste discrimination continue to exist in society and stressed the need to address them systematically.
