Pune, July 12 -- union Minister of State for Social Justice Ramdas Athawale on Sunday said that the ongoing "Operation Tiger" is not the handiwork of the BJP or Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, but the consequence of Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray's own political decisions. Athawale said Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is the real leader of the Shiv Sena and that leaders and workers from other parties are joining the Shiv Sena because of their confidence in his leadership.
He alleged that Uddhav Thackeray failed to keep his own party united and said the present situation could have been avoided had he not aligned with the Maha Vikas Aghadi.
