Itanagar, Feb. 26 -- Continuing its intensified drive against narcotics under Operation Dawn 2.0, East Siang Police arrested two individuals in separate operations conducted under Pasighat and Ruksin Police Stations, recovering 9 grams of heroin and 20 grams of ganja.
In the first operation on Monday, acting on specific inputs, the Anti-Drug Squad (ADS) team led by IC ADS Ayup Boko, along with SI Kuncha Tangha and constables Samuel Modi and Phinjo Kigar, apprehended Nagos Panggen of Jarkong, Pasighat. A body search conducted in the presence of Executive Magistrate Mum Messer led to the recovery of a small quantity of suspected ganja from his possession, police said on Thursday.
