Pamchkula/New Delhi, Oct. 7 -- Only CNG, electric, and BS-VI-compliant diesel buses will be permitted to enter Delhi from November 1, with older diesel buses set to be barred under measures aimed at reducing vehicular pollution in the National Capital Region, the Sonipat Regional Transport Authority (RTA) has said.

District Transport Officer-cum-Secretary, RTA Sonipat, Subhash Chandra, said the restrictions were being implemented in accordance with Direction No. 93 issued by the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) on June 3, 2025.
