Siliguri, Sept. 22 -- West Bengal Agriculture Marketing Minister Dilip Ghosh on Tuesday said the retail price of onion is expected to come down to around Rs 35 per kg within this month and before Durga Puja, while the price of sugar is also likely to be brought down to Rs 50 per kg or below in North Bengal before the festival.
Ghosh was speaking to reporters after visiting the Siliguri Regulated Market on Tuesday to take stock of the situation and discuss plans for its renovation and development.
