Jaipur, Oct. 25 -- Against the backdrop of demand for postponement of November 1 rally in Delhi, the Congress has set target to draw 1 million cadres - supporters of INDIA bloc - to the capital for successful conduct of the "Vote Bachao-Desh Bachao" mega rally, AICC general secretary (Organisation) KC Venugopal said today.
Talking to the media here this afternoon, he indicated that about 1 lakh party workers would reach New Delhi the next Sunday to attend the rally from Rajasthan alone. Massive efforts have been made for mobilising support for the rally and making all possible arrangements for taking the participants for raising voice for the cause of the nation.
