Nashik, July 14 -- One passenger was killed and five to six others sustained minor injuries after a private luxury bus overturned in the Somthane-Josh Ghat section on the Yeola-Nandgaon State Highway early Tuesday morning.
According to preliminary information, the bus, which was from Madhya Pradesh, was carrying around 20 to 25 passengers when the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle while negotiating the ghat section, causing it to overturn.
The accident triggered panic among the passengers. Local residents and police personnel rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident and immediately launched rescue operations.
