Chhapra, Aug. 25 -- A 65-year-old man was killed and a motorcyclist injured in a road accident in Saran district late last night.
Police said here on Tuesday that the accident took place under Bheldi police station area when Janak Rai was crossing the road near his house. An allegedly uncontrolled motorcycle hit him, leaving both Rai and the rider injured.
The injured persons were taken to Sadar Hospital by their relatives, where Rai died during treatment.
The motorcyclist was provided first aid and later referred to Patna Medical College and Hospital for further treatment, police said.
