Dimapur, April 28 -- An unidentified person was found hanging from a tree at Khuochiezhu, below Forest Colony, in Kohima on Tuesday morning.
Kohima police PRO, in a release, said a call was received at around 10.38 am about a body seen hanging from a tree. On getting the information, a team from South police station, led by its officer-in-charge, rushed to the spot.
Upon arrival, an unidentified male (non-Naga) was found hanging from a tree branch about 15 feet above the ground. The deceased is aged around 35-40 years, fair-complexioned and 5.7 feet in height. He was wearing a red jacket, a black T-shirt and black shorts, the release said.
