Jammu, June 3 -- The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Jammu Kashmir, president, Arun Prabhat on Wednesday accused the Omar Abdullah-led National Conference government of betraying the aspirations of the union Territory's youth by freezing the creation of new government posts and ordering the surrender of long-vacant positions.

Addressing a press conference here, Prabhat said Government Order No. 198-F of 2026, issued by the Finance Department, bars the creation of new posts and mandates the surrender of positions lying vacant for more than two years as part of expenditure rationalisation measures.
