Sonipat (Haryana), May 19 -- Olympians Dhiraj Bommadevara, Ankita Bhakat and Jyothi Surekha Vennam will be part of the Indian archery squad for the Asian Games 2026, whichbegins in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, from September 19.

The 12-member squad was finalised after the second phase and final selection trials for the Asian Games and World Cup Stages 3 and 4 at the SAI NCOE in Sonipat, Haryana. India selected three men and women each in the recurve and compound categories.

The women's recurve duo of Kumkum Mohod and Ankita Bhakat - who combined to upset the People's Republic of China for gold at the Archery World Cup in Shanghai recently - are in the squad.
