Bhubaneswar, June 8 -- In a major push to women-led entrepreneurship in rural pockets, the Odisha Livelihoods Mission (OLM) on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIT Bhubaneswar to incubate 150 growth-oriented rural enterprises over the next three years.
The partnership, launched under the Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP) of the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM), aims to help Self-Help Group (SHG) enterprises scale up into sustainable businesses.
