Panchkula, Sept. 8 -- Employees of the erstwhile Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) who do not opt for absorption in Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs) will continue on deemed deputation to these undertakings till their retirement, the Centre has provided through an amendment to the pension rules.
According to the sources, the Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare has amended the Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 2021.
The provision applies to employees of the erstwhile OFB, barring those of OF Schools and OF Hospitals, who do not opt for absorption in the DPSUs created following conversion of the board's production units.
