Bhubaneswar, Oct. 5 -- A 70-year-old Odisha woman who had been separated from her family for decades has finally returned home after being traced to an old-age home in Himachal Pradesh, police said on Monday.
Pramila Malik, a resident of Baluria village under Pattamundai police station in Kendrapara district, was reunited with her family at her native place on October 4, bringing an end to years of separation, Police said.
According to police, Pramila had left her matrimonial home several decades ago in September and later left her parental home following the death of her father. She subsequently lost contact with her family.
Institutional records showed that Pramila had stayed at the Mental Health Institute in Shimla from 2011 to 2018. ...
