Bhubaneswar, Oct. 9 -- Odisha Vigilance on Friday unearthed assets worth crores of rupees, including four multi-storey buildings, a flat, seven high-value plots and bank deposits of Rs 1.46 crore, during searches against Prasanna Kumar Patra, Deputy Director of Soil Conservation-cum-Project Director, Watershed, Sundargarh.
Simultaneous searches were conducted at eight locations in Bhubaneswar, Sundargarh and Cuttack on Friday over allegations that Patra possessed assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The properties unearthed so far include three double-storey buildings, each measuring around 2,400 sq ft, at Manchanath Villa in Bhubaneswar, another 3,000-sq-ft double-storey house at Balianta and a 1,150-sq-ft three-bedroo...
