Bhubaneswar, March 26 -- Officials of Odisha Vigilance have uncovered substantial assets allegedly possessed by Assistant Engineer Panchu Behera, currently serving as SDO of Daha Irrigation Sub-Division under Bhanjanagar Irrigation Division. Acting on allegations of disproportionate assets, Vigilance teams carried out simultaneous raids at five locations across Ganjam district on Thursday.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of three DSPs, seven Inspectors, and supporting staff, based on search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur.
During the searches, officials discovered a triple-storeyed building measuring approximately 3,550 sq ft in Berhampur, along with five valuable plots in and around the town. ...
