Bhubaneswar, Aug. 19 -- The Odisha Government is working to expand affordable housing opportunities for different income groups and develop new housing models for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Low Income Groups (LIG) and Middle Income Groups (MIG), Housing and Urban Development Minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra said on Wednesday.
The Government is also exploring rental housing solutions to meet the changing needs of urban residents, he said.
Mahapatra made the remarks while chairing a high-level review meeting on Urban Development and Urban Mobility, where he reviewed the progress of various ongoing programmes and projects.
