Bhubaneswar, July 2 -- Odisha Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari on Thursday directed officials to complete the installation of Doppler weather radars at Balasore, Bhubaneswar and Puri during the current year as part of the state's efforts to strengthen its disaster preparedness and early warning systems.
Chairing a high-level review meeting on measures to make Odisha's disaster management system more robust and effective, the Minister stressed the need to reinforce disaster management infrastructure.
He assured officials that there would be no shortage of funds or other necessary support for implementing critical projects.
