Bhubaneswar, May 16 -- Odisha will launch a door-to-door voter verification drive from May 30 as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls scheduled by the Election Commission of India, state Chief Electoral Officer R S Gopalan said on Friday.
Addressing a press conference here, Gopalan said Booth Level Officers (BLOs) would visit households across the state between May 30 and June 28 for distribution and collection of enumeration forms.
The revision exercise will be conducted with July 1, 2026 as the qualifying date.
Preparatory activities, including printing of forms and training programmes, will be held from May 20 to May 29.
