Bhubaneswar, April 22 -- The Odisha government has set an ambitious target to complete all mega piped drinking water projects in the state by March 2027, aiming to provide safe drinking water to 32,233 villages.
The target was finalised during a high-level review meeting of rural drinking water supply projects conducted by the Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department on Wednesday. Commissioner-cum-Secretary S.N.Girish reviewed the progress and status of ongoing projects across the state.
