Bhubaneswar, July 28 -- The Special Task Force (STF) of the Odisha Crime Branch has launched a drive to map interstate drug networks by preparing a comprehensive database of traffickers operating within Odisha and across the country, said officials on Tuesday.
The STF has sought details of ganja and brown sugar smugglers from the Crime Branch of various states to create a consolidated repository of interstate offenders, said officials, maintaining that the database will help identify organised syndicates, establish interstate linkages and facilitate evidence-based investigations and prosecution.
