Bhubaneswar, June 4 -- The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) programme launched by the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Odisha, to ensure a transparent, updated and error-free electoral roll, has crossed a significant milestone with the distribution of more than one crore enumeration forms within the first six days of the campaign.

The voter enrolment and verification exercise continued to witness an enthusiastic response from citizens across the state on Thursday, reflecting growing public participation in the electoral revision process.

According to information released by the CEO's office, enumeration forms had been distributed to 1,02,32,279 voters by 6 p.m. on Thursday, covering 30.64 percent of Odisha's total electorate....
