Bhubaneswar, July 2 -- In a major boost to Odisha's industrialisation drive, the state government on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UAE-based International Holding Company (IHC Group) for setting up a mega integrated aluminium project involving an investment of about US$11.5 billion (approximately Rs 1.10 lakh crore).

The MoU was signed at the Lok Seva Bhawan Convention Centre between the state's industrial promotion agency, Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation of Odisha Limited (IPICOL), and the International Holding Company (IHC Group) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
