Bhubaneswar, June 11 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday highlighted the state's human development initiatives at the 11th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog, asserting that investments in education, healthcare, skilling, sports and technology are central to building a "Viksit Odisha" and contributing to the vision of "Viksit Bharat."Addressing the meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Majhi said Odisha has maintained strong economic growth of 7.9 percent in 2025-26 while retaining fiscal discipline, earning the top position in NITI Aayog's Fiscal Health Index 2026.
