Bhubaneswar, May 5 -- In a proactive move to tackle urban flooding and enhance disaster readiness, the Odisha government has issued a comprehensive Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for all Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) to ensure effective preparedness ahead of the upcoming Monsoon season.
Issued under the direction of Housing and Urban Development Minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra, the SOP lays down strict guidelines for urban authorities with a clear mandate for timely and full implementation.
