Bhubaneswar, May 21 -- Odisha Director General of Police (DGP) Y B Khurania on Thursday directed senior police officials to further intensify security and management arrangements for the world-famous Shri Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri and ensure seamless coordination at every level.
Chairing a high-level review meeting at the State Police Headquarters in Cuttack, the DGP stressed the need for constant monitoring of all preparations to ensure that no lapses occur during the grand annual festival, which attracts lakhs of devotees from across India and abroad.
