Bhubaneswar, July 8 -- Ahead of the world-famous Puri Rath Yatra, scheduled for 16 July, the Odisha Police has given the final touch to a comprehensive multi-layered security blueprint to ensure that the annual festival of Lord Jagannath is conducted in a safe, orderly and incident-free manner.The security blueprint was reviewed yesterday at a high-level coordination meeting chaired by Director General of Police (DGP) Yogesh Bahadur Khurania at the State Police Headquarters in Cuttack.

Senior officers of the Odisha Police, along with representatives of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Railway Protection Force (RPF), Indian Coast Guard and other security agencies, attended the meeting.
