Bhubaneswar, July 8 -- In a major technology-driven initiative to strengthen the fight against cyber-enabled financial crimes, Odisha Director General of Police (DGP) Y.B. Khurania on Wednesday launched the e-Zero FIR System for cyber financial fraud cases.
The new system is designed to ensure the prompt registration of complaints, facilitate swift police intervention and improve the chances of preventing further financial losses, as cyber financial frauds continue to rise across the country.
The initiative marks a significant milestone in Odisha Police's efforts to leverage technology for faster, more transparent and citizen-centric policing.
