Bhubaneswar, June 10 -- : Odisha Police has launched elaborate security and crowd-management preparations to ensure the smooth, safe, and orderly observance of the sacred Debasnana Purnima of Lord Jagannath, scheduled to be held in Puri on June 29.
Director General of Police (DGP) Y B Khurania on Wednesday chaired a high-level review meeting at the State Police Headquarters to assess and finalize security arrangements for the festival, which is expected to draw lakhs of devotees to the holy city.
