Bhubaneswar, May 22 -- In an anti-narcotics operation, Odisha Police busted a suspected ganja trafficking syndicate during a large-scale raid conducted at Birikote Gram Panchayat under Adava police limits in Gajapati district today.

The operation was carried out under the leadership of SDPO R. Udayagiri, Rakesh Sahoo, with the participation of a 40-member police team.

During the raid, police seized a Hyundai Venue car and recovered several financial and property-related documents believed to be linked to illegal narcotics trade. The seized materials included 55 ATM cards, six bank passbooks, five cheque books, five land records and three sketch maps.
