Bhubaneswar, Aug. 18 -- Odisha has launched a special integrated tourism development project for the heritage village of Raghurajpur, aiming to showcase its renowned Pattachitra, Gotipua dance and rich artistic traditions on the global stage.

Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida laid the foundation stone for the project on Tuesday, describing the initiative as a major step towards transforming Raghurajpur into a premier world-class heritage and cultural tourism destination.

Speaking on the occasion, Parida said Raghurajpur was the "heart of Odisha's art and culture" and stressed the need to provide the historic village with modern infrastructure while preserving its unique artistic heritage.
